 Resource Mobilization

The BSI  receives funds from overseas and from within the country. However, the overseas budget has been cut by 40%.  As a result the North West India Auxillary (NWIA)  has to raise 10 lakhs  locally by October 31, 1999.

 Other Activities

Bible Sunday

is observed on the second Sunday in December each year.  The churches remember the work of Bible Society on this day and take special offerings for it.  Some churches invite the staff and workers of the auxillaries to come and share the ongoing work and challenges of the organization.

Fete

is an annual event in the calendar of some of the auxillaries. The main purpose of the Fete is to bring the churches together and also to raise funds for Bible Society. The North West India Auxilary will organize its 41st Annual Garden Fete in October this year and hopes to raise Rs 3 lakhs. Of course, this is no cake walk. Funds are raised mainly through the participation of the churches,  the publication of a souvenir and hampers.
