is around the corner, at the doorstep, halfway through the door or whatever
- it’s here. Its the media event of the century - the bug in the world
of computers, the buzz word for the marketing man and the party of a lifetime
for the common man. Millennium - its happening and you can’t miss it even
if you’re blind because it’s in the air.
Hectic plans to celebrate the event are the order of the day - wether its babies or holiday destinations. The millennium bandwagon is rolling and everyone wants a ride. |

| What a wonderful opportunity to present the Word of God. The world looks forward to the millennium, hoping against hope, that things will get better; but we know differently. |
| The Need |
| The need for the Word is immense, staggering. Looking at the population of India, which is fast approaching the 1 billion mark, it maybe easier to take a look at Delhi since it has a smaller population (only 12 million). |
| Reason for Hope |
| Well, staggering as these statistics may seem, there’s no reason to lose hope. Let’s take a look at another set of statistics which should give us hope. For 3 million families in Delhi to receive the Bible we need 3 million (30 lakh) Bibles. |
- Cost Price per Bible Rs 150
- Selling Price per Bible Rs 80
- Cost of Bibles for 30,00,000 x 80 = Rs 240,000,000
- (Rs 240 lakhs)
- Churches in Delhi = 800 ( 240,00,000 / 800) Rs 30,000.
- Christians in Delhi = 80,000 (240,00,000 / 80,000) Rs 300.

| You maybe wonder how can we distribute 3 million Bibles ? It calls for teamwork. We will join hands with frontline mission ogranizations and churches to assist us in the distribution. |
| Love Your Neighbour |
| Within this strategy comes our LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR plan by which individuals and churches are encouraged to purchase Bibles and gift them to their friends and neighbours. |
| The Millennium Club |
| The Millennium
Club is another effort to reach the families of Delhi with the Word
of God. Again, the concept is simple. You become a member of the Club by
sponsoring Bibles for 7 or more families.
